Something balanced and comfortable enough for long rehearsals, versatile enough to take in different musical directions, and interesting enough that you actually want to keep picking it up.

The Wingman VEGA carries that idea forward in a simpler, more accessible format.

Its thin mahogany body keeps the guitar lightweight while giving it plenty of warmth and resonance. The roasted maple neck has our familiar Modern C profile, paired with a 12" radius rosewood fretboard for comfortable chord work, smooth bends and an easy feel across the neck.

At the heart of the Wingman are our Goldsound® Jabmaster™ VEGA pickups.

The idea started with the openness and character we love in a Jazzmaster-style single coil, but the construction is our own: condensed into a P90-sized format and voiced with more body, more punch and less brittle top end.

Clean, they stay open and articulate. Dig in, add some gain or push your amp, and there is enough output and midrange to keep the guitar present without losing the clarity of a single coil.

The VEGA version uses the same pickup recipe as the Jabmaster™ found in our Original Series, now with a more traditional, old-school look.

Baum Performer™ hardware keeps things simple and reliable, with the kind of tuning stability and everyday durability we expect from a guitar that is meant to perform on stage.

Every Wingman VEGA is designed in Denmark and goes through final inspection, setup and play-testing by our team in Aarhus before it leaves.

The Wingman was always meant to be the guitar we designed to work with you: whether you play clean, loud, melodic, dirty or somewhere in between.

Our signature shape.
