The Revolt sports our new Royale™ humbucker. From slamming riffs, and melodic solos to bold cleans, the Royale humbuckers deliver a wide range of dynamics and huge attention to clarity and articulation.
The Royale pickups provide a vintage hot output that brings both crunch and clearness. The neck pickup sports the softer Alnico IV magnet which balances perfectly with the punchier and more aggressive Alnico V loaded bridge pickup. This combination brings warmth to your leads, and bite to your riffs and makes the Royale perfect for today’s players.
Goldsound® Pickups are our own custom-made pickups. Only available in Baum.
THE MOST LIKEABLE NECK
The Revolt features our modern C profile, which is the most popular neck profile for a reason. It’s comfortable to most players because it does it all, and it does it great.
Made of maple with a 12″ rosewood fretboard and a matching lacquer finish.
Frets are medium jumbo giving you a balance of width and height making the Revolt easier, smoother, and more fun to play all night.
SUSTAIN & STABILITY
The Levitator Roller bridge.
Tuning stability’s greatest enemy is friction. So we designed our own bridge to handle this.
Our roller bridge allows the string to move freely and is frictionless. It’s your Bigsby’s best friend, and it fits Baum like nothing else.
THAT SEMI-HOLLOW SOUND.
The semi-hollow design gives you a unique and fascinating blend of acoustic resonance and electric versatility.
The hollow chambers allow the guitar to resonate and vibrate more freely, giving you more sustain and a richer tone. It also adds a warm and woody character that sets it apart from its solid-bodied counterpart.
