Every Baum goes through several quality control points. The final step happens in our Danish Custom Shop where each instrument is personally inspected and tested by our guitar tech team of professional musicians. We’re very picky and go over every detail and part.
Our process:
Delivery inspection: Each guitar is unpacked, examined, and approved for build quality and finish.
Hardware & electronics: Each instrument gets the Baum Premium Set-up. Read more about that.
Performance test: Finally, our set-up team play and fine-tune the guitar to ensure it meets Baum’s tone and feel standards.

Seye Adelekan plays the bass in Gorillaz (joined the live band in 2017) and tours with his own music as well. But Seye is not only a multi-instrumentalist, he's a multifaceted artist.

My Vega Carve was well worth the wait - instantly my favourite guitar to play. The quality is astonishing for the price - it feels like a high end guitar from one of the more established brands - and it plays just as well. This is the first time I have ever picked up a guitar and felt that it has made me a better player. It was so good that within a couple of weeks, I ordered another Baum guitar!

It's a beautifully built and designed guitar. The p90s are particularly good, the set up meant they were well balanced out of the box with three very usable and distinct positions. Plays absolutely great and has a lovely neck, the fretwork is perfect. It's also got a number of little touches - eg: great looking and feeling pots, satisfyingly wide tuning pegs - that add up to something very special. The combination of the 25.5 scale and the light body and also pick ups brings together the best of a couple of different guitar types into one package. It's a joy to have something designed and distinctive that feels classic and original at the same time. Customer service was excellent in the build up. 5 out of 5.

Great guitar, a joy to play.Fantastic finish with a wonderfull neck I have added some weight in the control cut out as it was a little head heavy for my taste, but all fine tuning. A great value guitar, Thanyou.

Here it is! After a long wait, I finally got my hands on the Carve. I have to say I had quite high expectations, and I wasn't disappointed. It looks fantastic, arrived perfectly set up, and plays like a dream. This is my second guitar from Baum, and I suspect it won't be my last. Amazing!

I recently added the Baum Conquer 59 in Moon Dust to my collection, and it exceeded every expectation. The neck feels incredibly comfortable, the action is effortless, and the guitar just begs to be played. The semi-hollow body gives it a beautiful resonance, while the pickups deliver everything from sparkling cleans to rich, punchy tones. And then there’s the Moon Dust finish… absolutely stunning. I love this guitar! It looks, feels and sounds amazing. The P90s are so punchy, the action is spot on, lovely slim neck with the satin finish that makes me wanna play it all day, and it’s so light that I probably could! My only criticism is that it is a little head heavy and wouldn’t sit balanced without a textured strap but I can happily live with that. Guitar arrived very well packaged, the gig bag is great quality and offers a lot of protection. I ordered this guitar on a whim after seeing it online. The look of it is what struck me. Just what I had been looking for. Not flashy, or too big, just really cool 😎. After I paid for it, I did a little more research and was very impressed by the reviews. I have been waiting for the guitar to arrive for months while it was being built; During that time I did start to wonder whether it would be worth the money… It really is! Thanks Baum, I’m already looking at you guys for my next guitar 👍
New Baum 10th Anniversary Wingman arrived at its destination: Black Forest! Great guitar for a wide range of different styles. I use it for Progressive Rock in the Band Shards.upon.Nihil and for Punk and Metal in the formation Purify. Its warm tone also fits my Jazz-ambitions. Nice guitar in a beautiful case set up by a friendly and crafty team. If it's made for Doom, I will find out soon...

Great guitar except the pick guard. It seems the Material is pretty soft so you get these typical scratches to soon.
Finally got my hands on the Wingman 10th you sent me and, oh boys ! It’s really worth the wait ! From the finish to the slightest details, from bridge to saddle it came perfectly tuned. The neck is as sweet as silk, and your mics do wonders ! Usually I would never buy a guitar before a try. Given your 45 days policy, I was thinking you were well aware of the quality you’re dealing with, so I gave it a try and..! GUYS ! I was expecting quality, but this is clearly ways beyond my expectations ! Really ? For that price ? It could have costed 1K more, it would still be a great deal ! So, if you were counting on me to send it back, then I have bad news for you ! I have a gig in two weeks and I m gonna proudly strum this beauty ! update : I did strum this beauty and it stole the show ! And guys, this is what the delight of playing it looks like !

Knew nothing about Baum until I saw a Carve in a video. Ended up falling in love with the Wingman and ordered. From day one the responsiveness of the staff was great, answering my questions and giving support. The ordering/shipping process was straightforward, I live in Ibiza so the shipping part in some cases is not super easy. Got the wingman a few days before the scheduled date. Wasn't sure what to expect but I loved the guitar immediately. The setup was optimal, first time I didn't need to put my hands on a new guitar or send it to a luthier. Looks and feels very solid and high quality. The neck is super smooth and i love the sound. No issues with the Bigsby getting the guitar out of tune. So yeah, super happy about it, to the point I ordered a Carve 10 days later.
Dear Team Baum, Due to circumstances beyond your control I had to wait a bit longer for the arrival of the Wingman 10th Anniversary Edition but the moment I struck the first note I immediately knew that every second waiting for The Wingman was a second well spent. The guitar arrived perfectly adjusted at my house and felt like she had been played on for years. Great tone, comfortable balance, smooth neck and a gorgeous sexy design... she will be seen on stage with my band Isle of Men playing our latest album 'The Soul Of Kindness'. The service from Baum was excellent. Not only where customer setvice very helpful in reminding me I hadn't completed my original order. They held the guitar for me until i was able to pay it off and honoured the discounted price after I realised that I was paying more with the finance and sorted it really quickly. The guitar arrived perfectly set up and intonated. It sounds and plays amazingly. Glad they reminded me otherwise I would have missed out on the 10th anniversary. Quality if I say so is probably better than some custom shop Fenders! Brilliant stuff from Baum . I'll probably ending up buying something from their custom shop down the road . Couldn't recommend this guitar enough

After a few days with this guitar I am smitten! I have been worrying that I had purchased a metal monster with really hot pickups but what I have is a classic mid century sounding guitar that looks, feels and sounds amazing. Boven verwachting, minder twangy dan een Tele, maar prachtige vol en goede definitie. Stemvast, lichtgewicht, snel, goede voor yachtrock, jazz, LA softrock en R & B. Hoge E snaar vlak en zacht ws. afstelling element, of brug . Ik speel alleen Fender en d'Angelico. Wingman is met Tele mijn toppers!
The gigbag, which was included with the guitar, is a very high quality bag and I would take my beloved Backwing everywhere with it. But I like the look and feel of hardcases more, so I ordered this one. It's very durable and well build. It's quite heavy, but this makes it indestructible, very worthy.
Finally, my Backwing in mamba green arrived. I waited 8 months for this beauty, but it was worth every minute. It's my first Baum guitar and I'm pretty sure that it won't be my last! The craftsmanship is outstanding, there's not a single tiny thing to complain. The guitar feels, plays and sounds amazing. I really love the sound of the mini humbuckers. I can't wait to bring it on stage... Thanks Baum Guitars for my new number one!!

I’ve had my Baum Thunderbass since August 6, 2026. I’ve grown really fond of it. It’s easy to play, has a really lovely sound, and the lower weight compared to my other basses is noticeable when I’ve been playing for a long time!
I love my Baum bass in black. I chose it because you can really hear the wood and strings, to me many bass guitars have electronics- only distortion or added sound, and this is a clear ‘ window’ — into the gorgeous design, woods, and fabulous strings that sound with this Aarhus- designed instrument. Due to very serious both- hands injury I play Right and Left and am looking forward to the vintage white left- handed. I believe these guitars are made in Indonesia, and I also have a guitar from Epiphone named after my mother (SJ -200) made in Indonesia, which makes a happy- sounding instrument. Long may it be so! I also look forward to a future custom- shop made- in- Denmark bass. The design of the Nidhogg black and Wingman are my favorites! I don’t like that so many instruments are designed in imitation of EES Gibsons or Fenders. This is a gorgeous design and the sound is fantastic. I spend a lot of time in Denmark, am making the place vegan and cruelty- free. I am reading Danish ‘Minna’ right now aloud because due to poison sepsis misdiagnosis I have to carry 450 lbs of pulmonary fluid and it’s difficult to breathe — about a teacher who goes to Munich and Dresden Andersson's ‘Ugly Duckling’ was written about my sister, who died in 1993 without children. She had white- blonde hair as a child and I was considered the beauty. She would have laughed that some lab at Princeton Andover that recruited her to intelligence ( born without oxygen a little retarded) has made ‘lil soster’ 450 lbs, six inches shorter, with darker eyes they want to look ‘ ethnic’ and with un- combable black (African) frizzled hair! The Baum sounds very precisely according to my taste, rare among electric basses, on program. I am proud of Denmark for the excellent sound.
