Monthly Update 5: Factory QC and the Journey to DenmarkYour guitar is built, but it's not ready for you yet. Before it can leave our manufacturing partners, it has to prove it meets our standards.
This month is all about rigorous quality control. Every single guitar in the batch undergoes a detailed inspection. We check the overall build quality, the fretwork, the glue joints, the hardware installation, and the finish. The guitar is given an initial setup and measured against our strict tolerances. If anything isn't right, even the smallest detail, the guitar goes back to the relevant department for adjustment. We don't compromise here. It's a time-consuming stage, but it's the only way to ensure consistency across the entire batch.
Once the entire batch is approved, the guitars are securely packaged for their longest journey yet: the trip to our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark.
This part requires patience. Depending on the most optimal route for both delivery time and environmental impact, the guitars travel by air, sea, and truck. The journey can take up to six weeks.
While your guitar is in transit, we are busy in Aarhus. We are preparing the workshop, clearing the benches, and getting ready to receive the batch for the final, most crucial stage of the process. Your guitar is on its way home to Denmark.
