Return shipping

  • For instruments, we arrange and provide a return label
  • For headphones, merch, and accessories, return shipping must be arranged and paid by the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

Returns for headphones, merch, and accessories are made at the customer’s own responsibility until the product is received by us.

Your return rights

When you shop at baumguitars.com, you have:

  • A 45-day return period (from delivery)
  • The right to test the product as you would in a store

This is more than the standard 14-day EU withdrawal right.

How returns work

  1. You receive your guitar → your 45-day trial starts
  2. If you want to return it, email: support@baumguitars.com
  3. We send you a return label
  4. Pack the guitar in the original box
  5. Drop it off at your nearest delivery point

Return costs

  • Europe: Free
  • USA / Canada: $150
  • APAC / Africa: $189

The fee covers return shipping to Denmark.

Condition of returned instruments

You are free to test the guitar.

However, it must be returned in the same condition as received, allowing for normal testing, meaning:

  • No damage or marks beyond normal testing
  • No missing parts or accessories
  • Packed in original packaging

If the product shows signs of use beyond normal testing, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.

If the product is damaged or incomplete, we may reduce the refund or refuse the return where permitted by law.

Refunds

  • Refunds are issued after inspection and processed within 14 days
  • The refund is made using the original payment method
  • For orders within the EU, standard delivery costs are refunded.
    For orders outside the EU, original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If a delivery is refused or not collected, return shipping, duties, and handling costs may be deducted from your refund.

This is considered normal use.

Return condition (Headphones)

The product must be returned in clean and resellable condition, meaning:

  • Show no visible wear or damage
  • Be clean and free from odours
  • Include all accessories
  • Include original packaging

Removing protective film is allowed.

If the product shows signs of use beyond normal testing, we may reduce the refund to reflect the diminished value.

If the product is heavily used, damaged, or incomplete, we may reduce the refund or refuse the return where permitted by law.
