Your Baum begins here. We build in micro-batches based on your preorder, so we only use what's needed for your guitar — nothing more.

Premium tonewoods are selected next: mahogany for bodies, roasted maple for stable necks, rosewood for fretboards. Each piece is dried, cut, and prepared into blanks ready to be shaped.

Our custom hardware — Precision Tuners™, Goldsound® pickups, bridges — is engineered in-house and made to order with specialised partners worldwide. Zero waste, parts that are uniquely Baum.

Meanwhile, CNC machines shape the body, neck, and fretboard of your guitar with the precision needed for everything that follows.

Assembly brings it all together. Necks and bodies are matched, custom hardware installed, frets dressed, nuts cut, electronics wired.

Then every guitar goes through rigorous inspection — playability, finish, setup. If something doesn't meet our standards, it goes back for adjustment. Perfection is worth the time.

Once approved at the factory, your guitar is securely packaged and shipped to our workshop in Aarhus.

On arrival we let each guitar rest and acclimatise to our climate, then inspect finishes, hardware, and overall quality — every instrument carefully classified before final setup.

Musicians set up every guitar for musicians. We fine-tune fretwork, nut slots, intonation, and action so it plays inspiring from the first note.

Then it's carefully packaged and ready to ship — about to become part of your music.
