BAUM QUALITY CONTROL

Every Baum goes through several quality control points. The final step happens in our Danish Custom Shop where each instrument is personally inspected and tested by our guitar tech team of professional musicians. We’re very picky and go over every detail and part.

Our process:

  • Delivery inspection: Each guitar is unpacked, examined, and approved for build quality and finish.

  • Hardware & electronics: Each instrument gets the Baum Premium Set-up. Read more about that.

  • Performance test: Finally, our set-up team play and fine-tune the guitar to ensure it meets Baum’s tone and feel standards.

Nothing leaves our hands until it matches our quality for how it plays, sounds, and looks.

BAUM PREMIUM SET-UP

Every Baum is refined by hand in Denmark by our guitar tech setup team of professional musicians. Our guitar techs inspect, adjust, and play test each guitar to bring out the best of each as they know what it takes to be a performer.

  • Frets & fret ends – crowned, polished, and smoothed by hand.

  • Nut setup – inspected and cut for the optimal height and zero friction.

  • Truss rod & action – fine-tuned for the best playability.

  • Pickup height & intonation – dialed in for balanced tones and precise intonation across the neck.

  • Hardware – tested and tightened for lasting reliability.

  • Strings – we trust D’addario 10-46. Strings are replaced if needed for a fresh, consistent feel.

  • Final inspection & polish – every curve checked, every detail cleaned.

  • Play test – every Baum is played by our luthiers before shipping.

Stage-ready the moment you plug it in.

CURIOS. CREATIVE. CELESTOR.

The Celestor is our true single coil (SSS guitar) model full of Baum-made features presented in our Danish design made for players worldwide. It is inspired by the sound that made us fall in love with the electric guitar, yet completely redesigned in every detail.

The Celestor features several unique features like the custom-made TrueTone™ tremolo, Goldsound® Verve™ single coils, and the Precision Tuners™ all of which are combined with the classic Baum style of mahogany body, roasted maple neck, and rosewood fretboard.

The Celestor is our interpretation of a sound we all grew up with and will bring with us into the future.

CRISP, DYNAMIC & PUNCHY.

Goldsound Verve pickups made for Celestor.

These well-balanced and clear-sounding Alnico V single coils give you a crisp and powerful voice with clarity to cut through. The Verve single coils have depths and dynamics to go from whisper quiet to a scream with just your touch.

The bridge pickup is wound hotter and has a brass baseplate underneath to bring a little extra punch and give it more bass response making it more pleasant and versatile for all music styles.

Baum c shape neck profile no binding

THE MOST LIKEABLE NECK

The Celestor features our modern C profile, which is the most popular neck profile for a reason. It’s comfortable to most players because it does it all, and it does it great.

Made of roasted maple with a 12″ rosewood fretboard and a satin lacquer finish, and smooth-rolled fingerboard edges.

Frets are medium jumbo giving you a balance of width and height making the Celestor easier, smoother, and more fun to play all night.

AN EXTRA GEAR.

You’ll find an extra tone in our wiring diagram. A modification often made by serious tone chasers is now a standard feature on the Celestor.

The mid-position combines the neck and bridge pickups for a strong and twangy tone.

That’s versatile, musical, and made for you.

PRECISE TUNING.

Find your pitch with the Baum Precision™ Tuners.

The high ratio 21:1 tuners give you full control over the tuning, so you can focus more on your timing than your tuning.

The Precision Tuner™ comes with a solid brass shaft. Why? It’s one of the few parts with constant string contact, and this add-on gives your tone more articulation.

 That’s a precisely tuned tone.
