BAUM QUALITY CONTROL

Every Baum goes through several quality control points. The final step happens in our Danish Custom Shop where each instrument is personally inspected and tested by our guitar tech team of professional musicians. We’re very picky and go over every detail and part.

Our process:

  • Delivery inspection: Each guitar is unpacked, examined, and approved for build quality and finish.

  • Hardware & electronics: Each instrument gets the Baum Premium Set-up. Read more about that.

  • Performance test: Finally, our set-up team play and fine-tune the guitar to ensure it meets Baum’s tone and feel standards.

Nothing leaves our hands until it matches our quality for how it plays, sounds, and looks.

BAUM PREMIUM SET-UP

Every Baum is refined by hand in Denmark by our guitar tech setup team of professional musicians. Our guitar techs inspect, adjust, and play test each guitar to bring out the best of each as they know what it takes to be a performer.

  • Frets & fret ends – crowned, polished, and smoothed by hand.

  • Nut setup – inspected and cut for the optimal height and zero friction.

  • Truss rod & action – fine-tuned for the best playability.

  • Pickup height & intonation – dialed in for balanced tones and precise intonation across the neck.

  • Hardware – tested and tightened for lasting reliability.

  • Strings – we trust D’addario 10-46. Strings are replaced if needed for a fresh, consistent feel.

  • Final inspection & polish – every curve checked, every detail cleaned.

  • Play test – every Baum is played by our luthiers before shipping.

Stage-ready the moment you plug it in.

CURIOS. CREATIVE. CELESTOR.

The Celestor is Baum’s modern S‑style electric guitar - a true SSS single‑coil model packed with custom Baum in-house engineered hardware and award‑winning Danish design.

Inspired by the iconic tones that defined electric guitar history, Celestor reimagines the classic formula with a mahogany solid body, roasted maple neck, and rosewood fretboard for warm resonance, smooth playability, and rich sustain.

Equipped with TrueTone™ tremolo, Goldsound® Verve™ Alnico V single‑coil pickups, and Precision Tuners™, Celestor blends vintage single‑coil clarity with modern performance and tuning stability.

A timeless sound, redefined for today’s players.

CRISP, DYNAMIC & PUNCHY.

The Goldsound® Verve™ pickups, made exclusively for the Celestor, are balanced Alnico V single‑coil pickups that deliver crisp highs, articulate mids, and powerful clarity to cut through any mix.

Responsive to every nuance of your touch, the Verve set moves effortlessly from sweet cleans to expressive bite. The bridge pickup is overwound and paired with a brass baseplate, adding punch, warmth, and a fuller low‑end for versatile tones across blues, indie, funk, pop, and rock.

Designed for players who want dynamic single‑coil tone with vintage character and modern definition, Verve pickups capture the soul of classic S‑style sound, refined for today’s music.

AN EXTRA GEAR.

The Celestor’s mid-position combines neck + bridge pickups, unlocking a bright, twangy tone with a punch - think classic T-type edge. This wiring, often after-modded by professionals, is of course a standard feature on the Celestor.

Ever wish your S‑style had that snappy, twangy sound too? The Celestor’s neck + bridge blend gives you exactly that.

Truetone 6-point tremolo for s-types close-up

A custom tremolo bridge with steel saddles and a solid brass block for rich sustain, resonance, and rock‑solid tuning.

TrueTone™ 6‑Point Tremolo

Custom‑made for the Celestor, the TrueTone™ tremolo bridge combines vintage-inspired design with modern upgrades.

Its 6‑point screw system maximizes body resonance, while steel saddles deliver crisp attack and precise intonation. A solid brass sustain block adds depth, warmth, and longer sustain—giving every note more character.

With a locking push‑in arm and smooth travel, the TrueTone™ tremolo offers expressive vibrato and rock‑solid tuning stability, whether you’re adding subtle shimmer or bluesy bends.

THE MODERN C-SHAPE NECK

The Celestor’s modern C-shape neck profile blends speed, comfort, and versatility—making it the ideal profile for most players.

Imagine the classic rounded 'C' feel, refined for modern playability: slim enough for fast fretwork, yet thick enough for comfortable chording and long sessions.

With a roasted maple neck, 12″ rosewood fretboard, satin finish, and medium-jumbo frets with rolled edges, the Celestor neck feels effortless across genres from indie rhythms to to bluesy bends to soaring rock solos. It's a neck built to adapt to your style.

PRECISE TUNING.

With a 21:1 gear ratio, the Baum Precision™ Tuners give you smooth, precise control over your pitch so you can focus on playing, not tuning.

On an S‑style guitar with a tremolo system, tuning stability matters a lot. Using the tremolo can create friction at the nut and bridge, but premium high‑ratio tuners with brass shafts help keep your pitch rock‑solid, so you can do subtle vibrato, big bends, chords or solos.

Each Precision tuner features a solid brass shaft. This design enhances tuning stability, resonance, sustain, and articulation, letting every note ring with clarity and character.

The result? A S-type guitar that stays in tune, feels more responsive, and sounds better —every time you play.
