Boven verwachting, minder twangy dan een Tele, maar prachtige vol en goede definitie. Stemvast, lichtgewicht, snel, goede voor yachtrock, jazz, LA softrock en R & B. Hoge E snaar vlak en zacht ws. afstelling element, of brug . Ik speel alleen Fender en d'Angelico. Wingman is met Tele mijn toppers!
The gigbag, which was included with the guitar, is a very high quality bag and I would take my beloved Backwing everywhere with it. But I like the look and feel of hardcases more, so I ordered this one. It's very durable and well build. It's quite heavy, but this makes it indestructible, very worthy.
Finally, my Backwing in mamba green arrived. I waited 8 months for this beauty, but it was worth every minute. It's my first Baum guitar and I'm pretty sure that it won't be my last! The craftsmanship is outstanding, there's not a single tiny thing to complain. The guitar feels, plays and sounds amazing. I really love the sound of the mini humbuckers. I can't wait to bring it on stage... Thanks Baum Guitars for my new number one!!

I love my Baum bass in black. I chose it because you can really hear the wood and strings, to me many bass guitars have electronics- only distortion or added sound, and this is a clear ‘ window’ — into the gorgeous design, woods, and fabulous strings that sound with this Aarhus- designed instrument. Due to very serious both- hands injury I play Right and Left and am looking forward to the vintage white left- handed. I believe these guitars are made in Indonesia, and I also have a guitar from Epiphone named after my mother (SJ -200) made in Indonesia, which makes a happy- sounding instrument. Long may it be so! I also look forward to a future custom- shop made- in- Denmark bass. The design of the Nidhogg black and Wingman are my favorites! I don’t like that so many instruments are designed in imitation of EES Gibsons or Fenders. This is a gorgeous design and the sound is fantastic. I spend a lot of time in Denmark, am making the place vegan and cruelty- free. I am reading Danish ‘Minna’ right now aloud because due to poison sepsis misdiagnosis I have to carry 450 lbs of pulmonary fluid and it’s difficult to breathe — about a teacher who goes to Munich and Dresden Andersson's ‘Ugly Duckling’ was written about my sister, who died in 1993 without children. She had white- blonde hair as a child and I was considered the beauty. She would have laughed that some lab at Princeton Andover that recruited her to intelligence ( born without oxygen a little retarded) has made ‘lil soster’ 450 lbs, six inches shorter, with darker eyes they want to look ‘ ethnic’ and with un- combable black (African) frizzled hair! The Baum sounds very precisely according to my taste, rare among electric basses, on program. I am proud of Denmark for the excellent sound.
I received my new Baum Nidhogg bass a couple of days earlier than expected and about a half hour before heading out the door for a gig. I unboxed it, tuned her up and she played as beautiful as she looked. I put her back in the gig bag, which I should say is the best gig bag that I have ever seen. Played the Nidhogg that night and fell in love with her. Felt and sounded so good. It was set up great, very low action. I play a bit heavy-handed so had to raise the action a little bit to suit me but she is a wonderful bass. I've had 2 more shows since and I love it more each time i play it. I had been looking at them and reading up on Baum for a couple years. When I saw 40%off and the discontinuation notice I put in my order. I'm really glad I finally did. I waited a long time for this guitar. The guitar looks fantastic. It's a little bigger then expected but that's not a problem. It sounds really good. One thing that needed adjustment was the hight of the strings. They were much too high and the guitar felt uncomfortable, so I guess I should review your information on final tuning. I took it to luthier to lower the strings and tune it perfectly. After that the guitar feels really good and is much better to play. Overall it's great guitar.
After an annoying waiting time of 8 months, with prepayment, I still received my guitar in solid packaging. The guitar is very solidly processed, looks cool and also fits well in the hand. It plays easily and smoothly and sounds surprisingly good over my equipment. I can't say anything about the practicality in the band and stage operation.
I am very, very happy with my new backwing. Absolutely the best guitar i have ever owned. The neck is super smooth and comfortable. Great set up out of the box. The mini humbuckers are artikulation and clear, and they handle high gain tones with ease. The finish looks awrsome in crimson red. Depending on the light it varies from dark deep red, to almost a pinkish red from some Angeles. Having always played 24.75" scales, it took me a couple of days to get used to the longer scale length, but now it feels right at home. Customer support and service has been notjing but exceptionel. Overall i can highly recommend this guitar. I am very happy with my first, but definitely not last Baum guitar.

Bought as a B Stock so got a GREAT price and when it turned up it was immaculate, not a brack on it. All the protective film was still on it so it was as new. Sounds brilliant and have had great fun putting it through its paces with loads of amps and cabs on my Helix Rack. Ten times the quality of my previous bass (Traben Array Limited) for only 3 times the price. Totally delighted with it! Tony

My Wingman is my current number one guitar that I reach for when I gig. The proprietary Goldsound P90s provide both a sparkling clarity and a satisfying growl. It’s comfortable around my neck and beneath my fretting hand. With the roller bridge, it stays in tune when I exercise the Bigsby B-50.

Stunning design! The quality of the components! Literally every little detail comes together flawlessly, especially in this stunning Vintage White livery. Mine arrived perfectly set-up and is a joy to play. In my opinion, Baum absolutely nailed it with the Celestor. At this price, the Celestor definitely puts a lot of much higher priced competitors to shame! If you were to bring out a version with a maple fretboard in the future, I'm in!!!
Since its release, I really liked the Wingman. I finally gave in and ordered it. The bass is gorgeous, the finish is flawless. The fretting is perfect. The Wingman is very light and well balanced. The tuners are precise and the bass holds tuning very well. Sound-wise, it's a JB, the sound is neither too vintage nor too modern, it will be comfortable in quite a few styles. I really can't wait to play it live. And above all, it's cool to have an unusual bass 🤘 The bass was in stock so received in a few days and perfectly set up. Regarding Baum, great communication, customer service very responsive to questions. Great experience with Baum
As a quarter-Danish (my grand mother was born in Frederikshavn Denmark) I had already come across this bass a few times. But now that I heard it would no longer be produced, I simply had to order it in this fantastic green color.
I’ve had a very pleasant experience taking full advantage of everything Baum has to offer. I was able to secure my purchase with the payment plan they offer. When it finally shipped it only took 3 days to get to me. It was fun watching it go through all the different countries on its way to me. The guitar is absolute perfection. Everything about it feels perfectly designed. I haven’t been able to put the guitar down since I got it. The pickups are my favorite part. Every single pickup configuration has so much character and clarity. I’ve never had a guitar inspire me to want to pick it up and play as much as this Celestor. One things for sure, I’ll be buying more from Baum. Thank you for creating such a rock solid product and business.

I haven't had it for very long, but I'm really happy with it.
I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical when I saw the offer for complementary headphones with my most recent purchase of the new 5-string bass. After all, i recently purchased Inner ear monitors; and have a pair of decent headphones for practicing at home. My first use of them, I thought, “oh, they are nice.” But when I swapped out to the other headphones, played a song, then went back to Baum Ellipse, I was blown away! The tone and clarity is absolutely amazing. I practice with a Bluetooth amp that plugs into the bass and mixes the song recording. It is difficult at times to hear the bass in the song but with the new Ellipse Studio headphones, my practice is much easier. Plus, because of the clarity, I can practice at a much lower volume and save my ears as I “jam for the lamb!”
I'm already enjoying the new bass, and I have to say, so far is quite an incredible feel and I can sense the quality of materials and level of detail that was taken when designing and crafting the instrument. Well done! And I can feel the set up that you did prior delivery. Just the action on the bridge tells the entire story. Again, well done! I will recommend Baum to my friends back home 🙂
I've had this guitar for three months now, so here are my thoughts. Pros: -The looks, of course. -Perfectly leveled frets. -Very comfortable to play. -Good factory setup. -The tuners are stable and hold tuning well. -The finish is flawless. Cons: -The sound is decent, but I'd rate it 3.5/5. I know tone is completely subjective, but to my ears it lacks clarity and treble definition. It's rich in the mids and has enough low end for its size, but it never really stands out sonically. -Price: At €1,458.20, it's expensive considering its sound quality. For comparison, my PRS Angelus, which cost €824.79, sounds noticeably better. I won't compare it to my Gibson Hummingbird, as it's in a completely different category—it's a dreadnought and costs twice as much. -If you're expecting to plug it in right away, think again—it doesn't even include the required 9V battery. That's pretty crazy for a guitar at this price point. Notes: -I replaced the tuners with Graph Tech locking tuners for acoustics. This wasn't necessary—the original tuners worked perfectly—but I simply prefer locking tuners. -If you're planning to install strap locks that are compatible with the output jack, I recommend the MusicNomad Acousti-Lok MN270. -The neck looks darker in my photos because I applied Monty's Montypresso. It's an amazing product. Conclusion: This isn't the best-sounding guitar, but it is probably the most beautiful. Would I buy it again? Probably not. I'd rather save another €935 and buy a Gibson J-45 Standard Vintage Sunburst instead. Cheers!

So I've been playing guitar on and off for a long time and I wanted to add some variety to my music hobby and also improve my rhythm playing and i decided to purchase a bass guitar. I've never before owned or played bass and therefore have no previous experience to compare it to. The Nidhogg looks and feels fantastic and I absolutely don't regret the buy and I'm keeping it! After playing it for two weeks I already noticed a progress in my overall musicality. The only thing that could have been better is the delivery time. It took more than six months till I received it. Also the communication from the Baum team could have been clearer. So if you urgently need an instrument for a gig next week the Baum online store is probably not going to be helpful 😉

As a young guitarist. I have had many gigbags over the years. But I’ve never quite had something like this. This is the best one I’ve ever had. I’m thinking about buying the Savage because of Daniel Hermann from Ashes of Billy, anf this gigbag would fit perfectly (well with any guitar really) but that’s not the point. I barely open it and could already feel the quality. It wasen’t sloppy or thin like most other gig bags I had. This was perfectly stiff yet soft, with a neck rest inside. I tried it on my 3 guitars and each one for perfectly. This is the best purchase I ever made! And for only a little over 100 kr? It was Insane! I WILL be buying again! Definitely! Thank you, Baum. Huge love!
Yes, the manufacturing and shipping took a long time, but it was absolutely worth it. Perfect setup, no issues with quality so far and it sounds killer. The neck profile and finish feel great and make it fun to play. The tuners stay in tune and the softcase is sturdy enough to keep the bass protected. Another great selling point is the weight of the bass. I didn't measure it yet, but it feels really light compared to my other basses. On top of that: everyone, really everyone loves the look of the bass. I have one little issue regarding the process, though. Communication during the process could be better/more frequent. Let's say an update every two weeks would be fair for both parties.

While the wait was way longer than I expected, about 7 months overtime, Baum actually made it the day before a studio session I really needed it for. It is a beast of a bass, both extremely growly and crunchy and super deep and huge sounding aswell. The most beautiful bass I've ever had the pleasure of owning.
