Goldsound pickups
This is most likely the best guitar purchase I've made in the last 10 years. Beautiful look, insane sound and great playability. Thx guys for such a great instrument.
The Goldsound pickups give great depth and clarity. The body is comfy and the finish is top drawer, a seriously impressive all round guitar!
It's familiar, but different, blending vintage vibe with modern functionality - it's like the 1959s guitar that never was.
Fantastic player. Flawless frets and a neck that is instantly familiar like a guitar you've played for years. Sustain is natural, and sounds epic both driven and clean.

10th Anniversary Wingman SPECIFICATIONS & DETAILS
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 1456 reviews.
Such a versatile instrument. You can get that classic Jazz sound from it but also, with some tone adjustment, a credible Precision sound too. Plus a whole load of new places to explore. Put some flats on it, hoist the action up a bit and you can really lay into it! Thanks, Baum!
Excellent instrument - well made, looks beautiful, sounds fantastic!
Love this guitar straight out of the box. Out of all my Baums, this one has my favourite neck. The new Vega series is really special! I bought the Verve and the Revolt. Both have arrived in immaculate condition and with stellar setups. These new models are really dialed in!
Great guitar. Super stable tuning. Resonant. Light. Ergonomic. Love the finish of the neck. I wanted to play a whole show before reviewing and she impressed a sold out house.
GREAT QUALITY Gig bag! Very durable and exceeded my expectations! So happy with my Baum Verve purchase. Definitely worth the wait. Good things come to those who wait for sure.
This is my first Baum guitar, and I'm truly thrilled and happy to have purchased it. There are many reasons why I'm so satisfied. I'll try to explain them in this review (I used Google Translate). First: the setup. I have several mid-range guitars (not custom shop guitars, so to speak) and often, after purchasing them, I've been forced to take them to the luthier for adjustments. Typically, the octave adjustments, the string action, and sometimes even a buzzing or dead string in the higher positions of the fretboard. However, the Baum Revolt guitar arrived perfectly set up and ready to play: a beautiful piece of work by the Baum luthiers. Second: the quality of the materials and construction. The Revolt is a remarkable piece of lutherie; the body wood (very light mahogany), the body varnish, the perfection of the neck, the quality of the rosewood on the fretboard, the tuners, the bridge. Everything is of high quality and certainly far superior to the quality of guitars of a similar price. Third aspect: the sound. A guitar, besides being beautiful and well-built, must ultimately sound good, and this Revolt has a truly beautiful sound. The P90 pickups are open, analytical, and extremely sensitive. The range of tones that can be obtained in the three typical operating combinations, together with excellent tone and volume controls, is truly vast. You can go from a muffled sound typical of jazz accompaniment to a sharp but full sound that is giving me great satisfaction. These days I'm playing only this guitar and every day I discover new timbres and new sounds. In conclusion, the Baum Revolt is a splendid guitar (the color of mine in particular drives me crazy) that can give great satisfaction to any guitarist. Great job, Baum! Bravo!
My Vega Carve was well worth the wait - instantly my favourite guitar to play. The quality is astonishing for the price - it feels like a high end guitar from one of the more established brands - and it plays just as well. This is the first time I have ever picked up a guitar and felt that it has made me a better player. It was so good that within a couple of weeks, I ordered another Baum guitar!
It seemed like a long wait, 6 months after pre ordering this beautiful work of art arrived, and it was more than worth the wait. It feels, looks and sounds amazing! P90’s are awesome. I use neck pick up mainly, and it is smooth and bluesy, but clear and touch sensitive. Very happy indeed, thank you Baum
It's a beautifully built and designed guitar. The p90s are particularly good, the set up meant they were well balanced out of the box with three very usable and distinct positions. Plays absolutely great and has a lovely neck, the fretwork is perfect. It's also got a number of little touches - eg: great looking and feeling pots, satisfyingly wide tuning pegs - that add up to something very special. The combination of the 25.5 scale and the light body and also pick ups brings together the best of a couple of different guitar types into one package. It's a joy to have something designed and distinctive that feels classic and original at the same time. Customer service was excellent in the build up. 5 out of 5.
**Absolutely stunning – worth every day of the wait!** My new and long-awaited BAUM Verve is simply amazing in every detail! First of all, it looks absolutely stunning – elegant, classy, and beautifully designed. But it’s not just about looks. It plays and sounds fantastic, with a richness of tone and versatility that genuinely exceeded my expectations. As with all BAUM guitars (and I now proudly own five!), the craftsmanship and build quality are exceptional. Every instrument reflects an extraordinary attention to detail and that extra touch of passion and dedication that makes BAUM guitars so special. I couldn’t be happier with my new Vega. The long wait was absolutely worth it! Keep up the fantastic work, BAUM!
Great guitar, a joy to play.Fantastic finish with a wonderfull neck I have added some weight in the control cut out as it was a little head heavy for my taste, but all fine tuning. A great value guitar, Thanyou.
Pretty sure this is the best guitar I'll ever play. It's tippy-top and I'm a happy old man. Will prolly buy another Baum a couple of years down the line. The quality and playability is stunning.
I absolutely LOVE my Baùm Wingman! Out of my many guitars, it's one that I often reach for and gig with!
This is my first Baum and first T-Style guitar. It’s also the first guitar I’ve purchased (sight unseen) without playing it first. I absolutely love it! I was completely blown away! Definitely a keeper and the Neck pickup is AMAZING!
This is my first electric guitar! 🎸 I’ve been waiting for this guitar for months, and it was definitely worth the wait! The staff at Baum Guitars have been very responsive and helpful in answering all my inquiries and questions. Thank you for the great service! 🙌
Here it is! After a long wait, I finally got my hands on the Carve. I have to say I had quite high expectations, and I wasn't disappointed. It looks fantastic, arrived perfectly set up, and plays like a dream. This is my second guitar from Baum, and I suspect it won't be my last. Amazing!
Straight out of the gigbag it was setup Great. The build quality is amazing. But...it has one thing... mojo!! I can't help but to pick it up and play all the time.. it speaks to me. Great guitar Baum people!
I absolutely love this thing. It came out of the box with a perfect setup (for my preference) the fit and finish is immaculate. It's just an allround great instrument!
I recently added the Baum Conquer 59 in Moon Dust to my collection, and it exceeded every expectation. The neck feels incredibly comfortable, the action is effortless, and the guitar just begs to be played. The semi-hollow body gives it a beautiful resonance, while the pickups deliver everything from sparkling cleans to rich, punchy tones. And then there’s the Moon Dust finish… absolutely stunning. Every detail feels thoughtfully designed, and it’s quickly become one of those guitars I simply can’t walk past without picking up. Another masterpiece from the Baum team
Dejligt instrument. Utrolig behagelig at spille på og flot hardcase, der fulgte med. Er meget glad og stolt af mit køb.
Lovely guitar, well set up and well packed. Love the neck. Volume control is also great for "adjusting mid play.. "violining"
I love this guitar! It looks, feels and sounds amazing. The P90s are so punchy, the action is spot on, lovely slim neck with the satin finish that makes me wanna play it all day, and it’s so light that I probably could! My only criticism is that it is a little head heavy and wouldn’t sit balanced without a textured strap but I can happily live with that. Guitar arrived very well packaged, the gig bag is great quality and offers a lot of protection. I ordered this guitar on a whim after seeing it online. The look of it is what struck me. Just what I had been looking for. Not flashy, or too big, just really cool 😎. After I paid for it, I did a little more research and was very impressed by the reviews. I have been waiting for the guitar to arrive for months while it was being built; During that time I did start to wonder whether it would be worth the money… It really is! Thanks Baum, I’m already looking at you guys for my next guitar 👍
New Baum 10th Anniversary Wingman arrived at its destination: Black Forest! Great guitar for a wide range of different styles. I use it for Progressive Rock in the Band Shards.upon.Nihil and for Punk and Metal in the formation Purify. Its warm tone also fits my Jazz-ambitions. Nice guitar in a beautiful case set up by a friendly and crafty team. If it's made for Doom, I will find out soon...
Beautifully constructed and plays incredibly well!! Sounds huge and the first gig with it was awesome!! I’m so happy that I decided to buy this guitar!
What a beauty! Absoultely love it!
The best guitar I've ever played. Great design. Very well-made. The feel of the strings and the wood are beautifully balanced and feel great. The guitar's sound is also really powerful. It's got real punch and offers great versatility for different genres. I'm very happy to own this guitar and highly recommend it.
Great guitar except the pick guard. It seems the Material is pretty soft so you get these typical scratches to soon.
Finally got my hands on the Wingman 10th you sent me and, oh boys ! It’s really worth the wait ! From the finish to the slightest details, from bridge to saddle it came perfectly tuned. The neck is as sweet as silk, and your mics do wonders ! Usually I would never buy a guitar before a try. Given your 45 days policy, I was thinking you were well aware of the quality you’re dealing with, so I gave it a try and..! GUYS ! I was expecting quality, but this is clearly ways beyond my expectations ! Really ? For that price ? It could have costed 1K more, it would still be a great deal ! So, if you were counting on me to send it back, then I have bad news for you ! I have a gig in two weeks and I m gonna proudly strum this beauty ! update : I did strum this beauty and it stole the show ! And guys, this is what the delight of playing it looks like !
What a majestic piece of gear!! I had the old conquer model and I loved it, sold to a friend that needed the guitar more than me, but I regretted instantly hahaha. Had to buy the newer version, and I still love this. Good job Baum
Great peace of guitar. Works excellant in pair with Peavey Classic 30. Versatile purpose for most kind of music. You want believe it, I use it to play Country music. It has great single coils, and a sound is just amazing. Thanks for this piece of art
Knew nothing about Baum until I saw a Carve in a video. Ended up falling in love with the Wingman and ordered. From day one the responsiveness of the staff was great, answering my questions and giving support. The ordering/shipping process was straightforward, I live in Ibiza so the shipping part in some cases is not super easy. Got the wingman a few days before the scheduled date. Wasn't sure what to expect but I loved the guitar immediately. The setup was optimal, first time I didn't need to put my hands on a new guitar or send it to a luthier. Looks and feels very solid and high quality. The neck is super smooth and i love the sound. No issues with the Bigsby getting the guitar out of tune. So yeah, super happy about it, to the point I ordered a Carve 10 days later.
Dear Team Baum, Due to circumstances beyond your control I had to wait a bit longer for the arrival of the Wingman 10th Anniversary Edition but the moment I struck the first note I immediately knew that every second waiting for The Wingman was a second well spent. The guitar arrived perfectly adjusted at my house and felt like she had been played on for years. Great tone, comfortable balance, smooth neck and a gorgeous sexy design... she will be seen on stage with my band Isle of Men playing our latest album 'The Soul Of Kindness'. This is the start of a lifelong love affair... congrats, you are making fabulous guitars that can compete with the best brands or even beat them... humble regards Dirk Fryns
I considered Baum against typical American big brands and took a chance. The celestor absolutely lives up to Baum’s pitch. The quality and playability are top notch and I would definitely buy another one! Great guitar! Thanks Baum team.
I use the headphone for some weeks now. I love the quality and the feel of the matirals used. The comfort is great aswell while wearing. Sound quality is great. And what is very handy is the dual side jack input. Every thing Baum makes is high quality. Kind regards Marcel Nijssen
I'm in love with this guitar. You can see the good quality control. The guitar feels high-end, it is very comfortable in the hand and its sound is spectacular. It also has a lot of personality in its aesthetics. In love with Baum!
Couldn't be happier with my Wingman Deluxe!
The service from Baum was excellent. Not only where customer setvice very helpful in reminding me I hadn't completed my original order. They held the guitar for me until i was able to pay it off and honoured the discounted price after I realised that I was paying more with the finance and sorted it really quickly. The guitar arrived perfectly set up and intonated. It sounds and plays amazingly. Glad they reminded me otherwise I would have missed out on the 10th anniversary. Quality if I say so is probably better than some custom shop Fenders! Brilliant stuff from Baum . I'll probably ending up buying something from their custom shop down the road . Couldn't recommend this guitar enough
The Conquer pure black is a fantastic guitar, great sound, great neck and a sublime finish.
Ordering from Baum has been a fantastic experience, shipping was fast and secure - the bass arrived on time and with no damage. There was one small issue which I communicated to the team and they immediately stepped up and made it right with no questions. 5/5 stars. The Wingman bass plays like a dream and sounds, looks and feels phenomenal!!!
