Why pre-order?

CURIOS. CREATIVE. CELESTOR.

The Celestor is our true single coil model full of Baum-made features presented in our Danish design made for players worldwide. It is inspired by the sound that made us fall in love with the electric guitar, yet completely redesigned in every detail.

The Celestor features several unique features like the custom-made TrueTone™ tremolo, Goldsound® Verve™ single coils, and the Precision Tuners™ all of which are combined with the classic Baum style of mahogany body, roasted maple neck, and rosewood fretboard.

The Celestor is our interpretation of a sound we all grew up with and will bring with us into the future.

ANYTHING BUT
MONOTONE.

Preorder your new Celestor. Just pick your style, then rock. Whichever style you choose, you get a guitar designed with you in mind, made of top-class wood, and full of custom-made hardware.

Available in Vintage White, Deep Forest, Glacier Blue, and Ocean Mist.

WHY CELESTOR.

Morten Bau, Founder of Baum, puts a few words on his thoughts behind the Celestor design and what makes it stand out on stage.

CRISP, DYNAMIC & PUNCHY.

New Goldsound Verve pickups made for Celestor.

These well-balanced and clear-sounding Alnico V single coils give you a crisp and powerful voice with clarity to cut through. The Verve single coils have depths and dynamics to go from whisper quiet to a scream with just your touch.

The bridge pickup is wound hotter and has a brass baseplate underneath to bring a little extra punch and give it more bass response making it more pleasant and versatile for all music styles.

THE MOST LIKEABLE NECK

The Celestor features our modern C profile, which is the most popular neck profile for a reason. It’s comfortable to most players because it does it all, and it does it great.

Made of roasted maple with a 12″ rosewood fretboard and a satin lacquer finish, and smooth-rolled fingerboard edges.

Frets are medium jumbo giving you a balance of width and height making the Celestor easier, smoother, and more fun to play all night.

TONE, SUSTAIN & STABILITY

Introducing the TrueTone™ tremolo.

Made specifically for the Celestor to bring all our favorite features to your hands.

A vintage-inspired 6-point tremolo with today’s features like modern steel saddles, a locking push-in arm, and a solid brass block.

Your tone just got an extra dimension of resonance, sustain, warmth, and articulation.

AN EXTRA GEAR.

You’ll find an extra tone in our wiring diagram. A modification often made by serious tone chasers is now a standard feature on the Celestor.

The mid-position combines the neck and bridge pickups for a strong and twangy tone.

That’s versatile, musical, and made for you.

PRECISE
TUNING.

Find your pitch with the Baum Precisionâ„¢ Tuners.

The high ratio 21:1 tuners give you full control over the tuning, so you can focus more on your timing than your tuning.

The Precision Tunerâ„¢ comes with a solid brass shaft. Why? It’s one of the few parts with constant string contact, and this add-on gives your tone more articulation.

That’s a precisely tuned tone.

what is split payment?

We’ll divide your purchase amount into four/six payments, billed to your current credit card. The split payment is only available on preorders and not instruments in stock.

How it works

There are no fees or penalties for paying your balance early, but the earliest delivery will be when the item is in stock.

By proceeding with Baum Guitars’ Split Payments plan, you promise to keep enough credit available on the card you have provided so that future installments can be charged to that card. If the card expires or is canceled, you agree to notify Baum Guitars and supply an alternative card with the necessary funds available before the next payment is due.

As with any credit card purchase, you are responsible for all interest and/or fees levied by your credit card company.

why pre-order?

Baum is a small company, and we make guitars in small batches. We value quality over quantity any day, and preorders help us to keep our production as precise as possible.

Each preorder has a huge impact on our small business and is uniquely meaningful. Our players are people who like high quality, a smooth feeling and like to play different, and instrument preorders can help ensure that we deliver that.

So, what do you get with a preorder?

The obvious downside is the wait…Preordered items will have an estimated delivery date in the future. But let’s look at why it’s worth waiting for.

By preordering, you get to confirm a purchase within our next-coming batch. Because we do small-scale production, our batches are often sold out before they get to Denmark, so this way you will be guaranteed one.

This is why you get an instrument that in many ways is special. First, the entire instrument is designed from our Danish philosophy and based on our years of experience as luthiers. All our designs are our own and are made to bring you fresh inspiration.

Second, we make our own hardware for our instruments. Our Precision Tunersâ„¢, Levitatorâ„¢ Roller bridge, and TrueToneâ„¢ tremolo are all designed to fit our instruments perfectly.
Our Goldsound® pickups are also designed and made to our instruments only.

Lastly, we give all guitars a solid quality control and set-up in Denmark before we ship it. We handle this step in our custom workshop in Aarhus, Denmark to give you the best experience possible.

We hope you’ll consider a preorder from us.
