What started as a one-man custom shop in 2015, is now a small Danish team designing and crafting high-quality instruments for players worldwide.
All our instruments are rooted in our love for the classics combined with our Danish approach to production, quality, and design. We care about making instruments you can put through its paces tour after tour.
We believe every guitar should be inspiring and remarkable, so you can create something noteworthy.

Danish design combines simplicity, functionality, and elegance into one instrument. Our instruments present sleek lines and sophisticated curves. The smooth, organic lines invite players to pick them up and plug them in to create music.
Proprietary designs play a big role in why Baum guitars look, feel, and sound different. We design our hardware and pickups to streamline the Baum experience. Goldsound® pickups, Baum Precision Tuners™, TrueTone Tremolo™, and the Levitator™ roller-bridge are all fine-tuned to improve the instrument’s quality feel, sleek look, and dynamic sound.

WHERE ARE WE NOW
Baum Guitars is now a small team of musicians, music lovers, gear nerds and luthiers.
We offer electrics, acoustics and basses from the VEGA Series, Original Series, Acoustic Series, and our Revival Custom Collection.
We still do all our designs, development, innovations, custom shop, quality control, set-ups and much more in Denmark. And we also wok closely with partners all over the world to make our instruments even better, so you can feel free on stage.
We're proud to see that our instruments are trusted by artists and players from all over the world. You're a big part of the Baum Family and this is why we build guitars.
A DREAM STARTED HERE.
Long before Baum Guitars was played worldwide - or even named, the simple dream about building remarkable guitars started in a house full of music and a basement with tools and wood where Morten Bau assembled his first guitar.
It wasn't pretty, but it played pretty good and was used on stage by Morten many times.
The intro to Baum Guitars was written.
A LIFELONG JOURNEY
Since building his first guitar, Morten Bau continued following his passions for great design, luthiery, and engineering. Morten worked as a designer and art director full-time while crafting guitars at home. Besides the woodwork, Morten also studied pickups to define his own sound, and hardware to find the best combination for his guitars.
In 2015, a life worth of experiences culminated into the birth of Baum Guitars.

In 2015, Morten Bau starts Baum Guitars to combine his passion for woodwork, design and music into one.
The design is a bold combination of the magnanimous 60's car design and the Nordic approach to simplicity. The result is an instrument where every details plays an important part in a bigger story.
Each guitar is handmade by Morten himself. Made on custom-order to match the player's dreams. And only of the best materials possible.
The meticulous attention to detail in design, materials and playability has been a cornerstone in Baum ever since.

Goldsound® is our own collection of custom-made pickups - only available in Baum.
We're not just perfectionist about looks, functionality and feel, but also how it sounds.
It all started with our signature pickups, the Jabmaster
Since 2015, the Goldsound® has been the voice of all Baum instruments.
THE ORIGINAL SERIES
CREATED FOR YOU
As our small brand's online presence grew, more and more players asked for a Baum guitar that was more approachable.
In 2021, we launched the Original Series with the 4 models: Backwing, Conquer 59, Leaper Tone & Wingman.
The first batch was just 100 guitars. We launched on a friday, and they had all found a new home within a few days. Wow.
This overwhelming and positive response laid the foundation for Baum today.
We're still a small team. We're still producing small batches. They're still on preorder. But the Baum Family of players grows each month.
