After CNC processing, we have a solid foundation, but we're far from ready for painting.
Each body and neck is carefully hand-refined by luthiers.
They sand body blanks and neck shapes to specifications like right cutaways, neck shapes, match fretboards to necks, add bindings to necks, bodies and headstocks, fit neck heels to pockets, and in general ensure a perfect fit and consistent feel across the batch.
